Director's Chair
Hello,
I am James Wall, the director of FALLOUT.
This two minute horror produced by Graeme Davidson, is a college project, which is also getting submitted to various competitions.
A quick story outline is, A guy and girl are coming home from a party at dawn when she gets attacked, but by whom? all unravels when she awakes in a strange unknown place.
The story was written by myself, Mark Braithwaite and Graeme Davidson. Instead of the traditional horror with ghosts and vampires, we have gone for a "this could really happen" thriller, which as been more popular over the last few years.
The night before the shoot lead male Danny White broke his arm in two places. So it was producer Graeme Davidson to step up and take the role. The two day shoot was successful and proved to be a great learning experience. The most surprising outcome of the shoot was the make up, special effects and lighting, which have provided a professional look.
Now it's to the editing suite, where footage and sound will be mastered, cut, chopped, pasted and everything else in the middle. On first view of the captured footage it looks great and, once edited and colour corrected, I imagine this first experience will become a great start to my directing career.
